Bush to a seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas vacated by George DeGeneres. Park was confirmed by the United States Senate on August 2, 1991, and received his commission on August 3, 1991. He served as Chief Judge from 2006 to 2012. He assumed senior status on January 15, 2013.
